Naturism school report?

This question is just hypothetical. I thought of it when I was thinking about subject matter that's deemed "innappropriate" for school.

If you were allowed, would you do a report on nudism/naturism for school? And what topics would you cover, and if a visual(s) were required, what would you use?

I'd cover:

1. What is naturism
2. info on nudist resorts
3. naturism myths
4. visual(s)

To think about it, I'd never write a report on naturism because everyone will make fun of me.

But if we lived in a better society I would.

I wouldnt mind writing a report about it.I would cover the basics, history, life, out comes, and why people do it. All my friends know Im a nudist and they dont mind nor make fun of me.

I am still taking college courses, and I have referenced nudism in some of my work. Of course I am both working in the field of Social Services and taking Psychology courses, so the topic is not taboo at all. When you are referencing the sexual attitudes and stimuli in society, nudism is rather mundane in comparison to the remainder of the discussion.

Its amazing that in High schooll yes they mightmake fun of you. However, when I wrote a nudity paper and had to give a presentation in college it went over very well. I still have that if anyone would like to see it.

Yeah, but none of my friends know that I am a nudist, and people at school would give me a really hard time if I chose nudism as a topic. And they might think I'm perverted if I used, as a visual*, a pic with a naked man, or men.

*Visuals-sometimes we need a diagram, chart, or picture about our topic for school reports.

I can appreciate how people's opinions of you matter at the age you're at right now, but I would hazard a guess to say that this will probably not mean as much to you the older you get.

IF you were to do a report, and include visuals, I think that old historical photos of naturists would be the best bet...followed by pics of large groups of people on present day nude beaches. That shows both the history and evolution of a chosen lifestyle.

And I'm not sure what you mean when you say "perverted" in referring to nude male photos, but just cos you're a guy showing a picture of a guy or guys does not mean anything at all -- especially a *perversion*.

Yeah, I think you're right about getting a hard time.

It's very unfortunate that anyone sees nudism as a perversion. But that's just a fact of life, these days.

I actually had a class where I could've passed off an argument for nudism as an applicable topic, but I chickened out. If I had it to do over again, I'd just go for it. I was also worried about getting a hard time about it, but sometimes you just have to go for it.

As far as a visual, in my high school and college, we can use PowerPoints as a visual; just emphasize the vital points and use logos if you think it'll help your presentation.

In high school, most of the topics were fairly directed, and people rarely were able to choose anything.

Sometimes last year, a young female asked for and received input for her school report on naturists. Didn't sound like she was having any problems.

LordWolfx, are you in high school or college? I personally wouldn't have considered for a moment doing a paper on nudism in high school for various reasons. But in my English 201 course, I toyed with the idea, and I wish I had just done it.

If it's a college course, I'd recommend doing it. If you can pull it off successfully, you might convince the teacher.

I would probably do it in college where I think people would probably be more accepting, but not in high school.

And for fun, I'm making a slide show about nudism, directed towards non-nudists. Just for kicks! I guess I'm pretty desperate for something to do... when it's done, if anyone wants to see it, I'll email it to them.
