I'm 16 and have been interest in being a naturist for a while...but I've never known where to start. Today I found this forum and I hope maybe some other teens could help. I live in Virginia and my parents are conservative and would never let me go to a naturist camp, beach, etc, afraid that it would make me weird or something. Is there anywhere I could go and try it out either around VA, a beach or camp where I wouldn't need permission of my parents and still be legal? I really want to try it out and meet some other teen naturists, but I just don't know how really...thanks everyone [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

The nearest legal nude beach for you is Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. That is a great place but would require a "road trip"
Clubs would generally require your parents to attend, so that option is out, Also, the age group at clubs tends to be older than younger; the few teens I have seen come with their parents and in C/O clubs stay dressed except while swimming.

At your age you best course of action is going to the AANR.com website and getting information on possible teen naturist camps in your area. Maybe if your armed with enough information and you can show your parents that naturism will make you a better person and not weird maybe they will reconsider it or at the least go out and visit with the camp counslers to get a feel for whats going on.
