Hi. My name is Sone, but you can call me Sonny. I'm a 22 year ol' guy from norway. I've been goin' around feelin' like a nudist for as long as I can remember, but I still ain't got the guts to tell nobody or be naked anywhere else than in my apartment. I've slept naked since I was a kid. What I'm wonderin' is if there are any people around who'd like to get to know me 'n' to share their experiences with me. I think I'm gonna need a lotta encouragement to get the guts to become a real nudist. I don't care if your a guy or a girl. Yeah, I was born 'n' raised in an itty-bitty town on the southeastern coast o' Norway so I got my own dialect or accent! I don't exactly talk the way most people do here in Oslo where I live now.quote:Originally posted by NudeAl:

Your language skills are very good indeed, just wondered where you picked it up. You must have learned the American form of English with a bit of a southern twist. I never made it to Norway but I have been to Sweden and Denmark I have relatives there. Way to cold for me but the summers are beautiful!Comment

Hi. I learned my English from my Pa's ol' Blues records, my own Willie Nelson records 'n' watchin' a helluva lotta (pardon my language) american movies. Thanks for the compliment! Y'all oughta come to Norway in the summer. It can be warm 'n' pretty here if y'all are lucky, but it can also be pretty damn cold, wet 'n' just plain yo-know.what. So, you got relatives in Denmark 'n' Sweden, huh? Ya know, a big ol' part o' the Norwegian population emmgrated to the stats durin' the late part o' the 1800s. Sew y'all around here!

Dear Sonny.
Welcome to the group. Like others have said your English is excellent.
You can see the influence of that particular part of the US in the wording and use of certain phrases.
If you had learnt by listening to our Aussie language then you would have picked up our unique speech patterns.
