• nudity and the effect on children from a kids point of view

My name is Matt. One of the most controversial issues about nudism is its impact on children. Since I am 14 years old and have just recently been interested in nudism. I hope that you value my point of view.

I was never raised in a "conservative" backround. nudity just wasn't something that my parents cared about. I had dreams where I took my clothes off, and experienced freedom. When I woke up I thought I was weird. If I was ever given three wishes one of them would be that nudism was accepted by all.
Half a year ago, I was extremly bored. I went on google and typed in "naturist" , though I intended the word "naturalist". Imagine my surprise when I saw unclothed people! I was extremly interested, and was heppy to find the truth about nudism. These are the effects nudity has had upon me

1. I feel more confident. When I was younger, I always thought I was ugly, because of the unrealistic goals set on us by society.

2. I have less shallow expectations.

3. Nudity has not made me more sexually active, It made realize that sex wasn't associated with nudity. Or rather, it enforced it in my mind.

Nudistmatt

Your point of view is valued and welcomed.

It may be the light to shine upon a textiles face and awaken them to the reality that is nudism.

My eldest granddaughter is 14 as well and is an avid nudist, all her friends know she is and all that visit her home feel free to be nude as well and most always are. Even her "boyfriends" have learned respect and decency from her being a nudist; not one has been jealous or pocessive of her with other boys.

Continue to seek and learn it will only increase your worth to yourself.

Let me say "Thank You!" for posting your findings! So many of us "old geezers" tend to get caught up in the whole erection/sex/piercing nonsense and forget what nudism is really about, teaching young people to accept themselves and others, and that sex has nothing to do with nudism. Good luck on your quest in nudism--and ignore some of us who have gotten WAY off topic!

Matt,

It's good that you've learned something at a young age that took me until I was 55 to learn. Don't let anyone discourage you from enjoying life naturally. Just because other people are still caught up in the lie that they have to cover their "indecent" bodies doesn't mean you have to believe that lie.

Your thoughts are valued here by some of us at least. I always enjoy hearing from young people who have discovered naturism/nudism.

Matt, I too had those naked dreams where I was naked and no one else mattered but me, at least intitally. After that, when no one cared, I didn't care either.

Maybe if more people in the world would mistype the word naturalist, we could get more converts.

And we welcome everyone's POV. The only thing we ask is that your behaviour is accepting as well. And you are doing very good.

Congrats for discovering your interest so early. But have you gained the approval of your parents to go naked in the house?

my parents decided to try nudism once they caught me and they loved it, now my cousin came to live with us a couple days ago, she was scared at first, but she loved it quickly, i find it to be a great bonding experience

I have a funny storie to add to that. I wanted to be a naturalist when I grew up, and he said "a naturalist?!?! Isn't that those people who run nuddy in the woods and sniff cocaine?" I secretly laughed at his ignorance.

Mateo,

The word is "naturist".

Jon, methinks you have misread mateo's post. He's already a naturist, and wants be a naturalist when he grows up.
Or have I misread it...
