THIS IS FOR 35 years young and Below....36 and Above will have a different Poll!

If tomorrow you had to make a decision of having to become immortal, would you decide to become immortal and live forever, or carry on as is in your current life? Please post your age and do not just respond yes or no, but justify your answer, i.e. tell us why? Or this won't work

I am 14 years old, and I would definitely NOT choose to live forever... not being able to be with God in heaven and having to see everyone die off...

Like a wise man once told me, "I want death to walk up behind me and kick me in the A**!!" That's about right. After about 70 years or so!

H&!! no! Imagine not only seeing everyone you know die, but then seeing humanity die, then all life one earth die, then the sun engulfs the earth, (and you) but you don't die, you are burned severely, and there's no more air for you to breath, so you just drift through space, choking, watching all light of the universe flicker out of existance til your floating, gasping for air, starving, and in total darkness for all eternity. (I've given this thought before)

Well yes, I would choose to be immortal. And it'd be just great until the sun engulfs the earth and all :P But come on, by then they'll have something that'll let you travel through space at least a little faster than they do now, and in your never-ending life I'm sure you'll find somewhere else nice in the universe to go

And yeah, it would be tought to watch everyone you know die off eventually, but also think of how many people you would meet and how many friends you would make in your life... you have to deal with death whether you live forever or not, that's not enough reason to refuse this.

Think of everything you would learn and all that you would witness. It would be amazing...

And, uhm, 14. Though I don't really see what that has to do with the question

I am immortal, I have inside me blood of Kings. I have no rival, no man can be my equal, take me to the future of you all.

I'm 20 and I'd choose to be immortal if I could. I know that there is the issue of dealing with the deaths of those around you and such, but it would be amazing to be able to watch the progress of mankind on such a scale.

I find it interesting how if the response requires a little thought and explanation, the frequent one line posters in the CFF don't answer.

But OTOH there are far too many one-line posts which contain absolutely NO thought or explanation.

Not only a waste of bandwidth, but a waste of members' time to pull it up and look at it.
