Age of First Experiences

I first started going nude with friends outdoors as a pre-teen. Most others I have spoken with at our nude beach, etc., seem to have been in their twenties. I was wondering about the age spread for those first experiences, among forum members.

I put "teen" because my friends and I tried skinnydipping in a river while a teen. But when I was younger the boys commonly swam nude at the YMCA, but that wasn't called "nudism." Few of the naked boys became nudists. We all showered naked at the school gym too, but that was just getting clean.

In addition I sometimes took my clothes off outdoors before my teen years, I liked the excitement, but not with someone else. I started sleeping nude and being naked in my room at a young age, but not with someone else. So I put "teen" in your survey because that was when I first went naked outdoors with someone else.

i had to choose teens if skinny dipping counts. i first went social with other nudist at age 52. took that long to have the resources and find places where i could enjoy the lifestyle with others.

I went nude outdoors by myself when I was probably about 6 years old, but the first time I remember being nude outdoors with anyone else was when I was about 10. We would be out playing in the woods and just ditch our clothes when it got hot outside. You can see from my picture that I still like to get nude in the woods.

It helps a lot when you do not live in the city.

I swam naked at elementary school and at high school and later at university. I also at times joined other males in saunas and steam bath of course naked. I always changed and showered naked after gym. However the first time I was seen naked by others in a public place was about 7 years ago at a local nude beach.

Since then I have been naked with my wife at many naturist resorts.

In Junior High School we took swimming classes in the nude in P.E. Class. This was not co-ed P.E. Class. This was in the late 50's. We also showered nude in Junior and Senior High School after P.E. Class. Also showered nude in college P.E. Class. In college our dorm the showers were in large room with mutible shower heads and several students would shower at the same time all of us were nude and did not think anything about it. In the Army the same applied.

I didn't count being born! I had several early experiences with babysitters while I was living outside the United States, but the first experience I count is skinny dipping with my cousins when I was about 7 or 8 years old here in the States. It wasn't much of a big deal though because the sight of naked boys and girls running around in the streets as well as nude swimming at the beach was a common one for me where I used to live.

I was eight when my parents moved home (They took me too!), so I must have been under eight when several of us used to go up to the nearby farmland in the summer, take all our clothes off and play tag, or climb trees.

It was cooler and more fun on a hot summers day also we didn't get our clothes dirty or torn and risk a telling off from mum.

After moving home I was closer to the river and took up skinny dipping from pre teen to my mid twenties and a wife intervened.

I was 21 which, um, makes that 41 for me!!! Was one of the greatest personal experiences and milestones in my life!

And this was back in the day when we were all taking to the streets to protest a horrible war, to get the environmental movement off the ground, to pursue relentlessly civil rights, women's rights, to make many social changes that we have today! An appropriate time, I think!

I was 13 and used to go and play in the local woods and take my clothes off so I would not tear them as I climbed trees.

I was 9 or 10 when I first started to go to the mass skinny-dips that was the YMCA in the early '60s.

Early teens for me, both in gang showers at school and in local woods with friends, because we could, basically. The first time in a mixed environment was when I was about 23 on a beach in western France.
