I am a single male wanting to meet other nudists in my area. I am a home nudist but would like to go to nudist events,beaches,camps,ext.I am shy because of my size( a few extra pounds). I am worried about being judged or made fun of. I also dont want to go to nudist places alone. I think it would be easier to attend with a friend.

Who's pre-judging who here?
We're not going to judge you or make fun of you based on weight. What makes you think we'd do that??
And if you go to a club or gathering where they welcome singles, no one's going to make fun of your or judge you on that, either.
The only thing that we nudists would judge you on is your behavior once you get to a get-together. So instead of pre-judging us as to how we'd all react to you, just contact a group near you --- Naturist New Hampshire is singles friendly and they have some of their gatherings right up 91 ....and get to an event.
There is also Sunchasers right in your area, I don't know their singles policy.
But if you find a group that will admit you to one of their events, they will also WELCOME you to the same. If you're legally an adult, then contact a group and come out and try social nudism.Comment
