Moderators are constantly and consistently looking out for ANYTHING that violates TOS or anything that is just wrong. This of course includes "predators" as you call them.

Of course your best protection will be your own commen sense and best judgement in following internet safety.

Moderators can only deal with anything posted publically or anything that is reported.

I been registered for about 4 months and never seen a problem here. I think this is a great community and when ever you ask something the members will let you know their opinion and their experiences. Just might be "predator" free.

Maybe the moderators are doing such a good job, that you don't even notice what they do.

The mod's delete quite a few accounts each month. The mod's catch them before they do any damage, there are some that slip by, but a couple of "report Posts" and they are followed up on. If they are indeed here for the wrong reasons, they are deleted as well.

I think that the moderators do a wonderful job monitoring the forums. They are assisted by the membership who use the "report" feature to bring questionable posts to their attention. Despite their efforts, we still have some strange people hanging around here. They walk a fine line to keep from getting bounced. You just have to wonder about people who ask questions about personal habits, clothing choices, and experiences. Many of the younger people here provide way too much information about themselves in their posts and profiles making them vunerable to pervs. Personally, I think under 18 members should be restricted from PM and not be allowed to post any personal information except first name. All it takes is a last name and a city/town name to locate many people using online phone directories. My name is so unique, you can search nationwide (probably worldwide) and find exactly where I live. Another problem is that many people use the same screen name on multiple web sites including blogs which contain school and town information.

I have been on this board since it's beginning.
Although there have been attempts by some less than noble people to cause problems on here. They have been found out and dealt with in a very efficient mannor.

This is a very well run site for the most part. I can't imagine the work involved by the moderators. But they do an excellent job of keeping the unsavory types at bay.

We all have to protect ourselves, by being cautious about who we trust. Don't meet people in person unless you have built that trust. And even then make sure your meeting them in a Safe, Public place.

                Steve

We keep our eyes out for anyone who is not abide by the rules here. Punsihments range from warnings to banishment.

We find the bad guys simply by being here and reading the messages, or by having someone report the post to us, which can be done by clicking on the link on the right side of the date and time of the message.

When reporting a message, please give the name of the person, the title of the subject, the name of the forum, and a reason for the concern.

If the message is in the form of a Private Message (PM), please contact us the same way, by clicking on the report post link. Make sure to let us know that it was in a PM and copy into your message what the inappropriateness was.

If you look at our Terms of Service, you will note some of these rules:

                  * Never post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. This rule will be vehemently upheld when dealing with adults posting to minors.
                  * Never request photos from minors.
                  * Questionable interaction with minors may be grounds for immediate termination, loss of CFI membership, and depending on the situation, you will be reported to your local law enforcement.
                  * People under 18 are not allowed to post their full real name, address, phone number or email address.

Sexually suggestive or other inappropriate photos will be deleted without notice.
People under 18 are not allowed to post nude photos of themselves or others without written parental consent.

Note that our interaction policy and our photo policy are designed to prevent inappropriate contact of minors by predators. No one under the age of 18 may use their full name or other identifying information and they must get paretnal permission to put up their nude photo.

These rules are meant for the protection of everyone, especially minors. But remember, you must use common sense when talking with anyone online. We cannot control how you talk with people via PMs or email. But if you do have a problem, simply contact any of the moderators here and we will try our best to help you.

                  Bob S.

My actual name is so common that it sounds like an alias. You would get so many hits if you entered my name, that it would be a waste of time.

Predators are always a danger everywhere on the Internet and you must be careful at all times. I think the biggest problem in this forum is the occasional person looking for a swingers club and groups posting condemning messages in the interests of "morality". These people quickly get disappointed that the site is not sexually oriented and leave.

There was a debate that older folks should not post in the young naturist forum, but not only can the youngin's learn from the old folks, but the older folks could watch for posts that are too revealing or suggestive. I'm waging that war with my teenage daughter and MySpace.com. Many kids put name, address, phone number, photos, daily routines and personal details in their profiles not knowing why these things are dangerous. I wouldn't mind meeting people from this forum, but still have to be very careful about who I let hang around my kids.
